Using a seismic pre-manufactured vibration isolation curb

Figure 91 shows the vibration isolation curb attached to a structure. The vibration isolation curb may be a continuously supported type as shown in Figure 91 or a point loaded frame.

Step 1: Attach curb or post and beam with equipment support frame to building structure

Step 2: Install flashing

Install flashing for a continuously supported curb as shown in Figure 86 or flash the stanchions as shown in Figure 84.
