Course Description
In this course the student will study the Professional Engineer’s Code of Ethics along with real life examples to reinforce these ethical principles. The professional engineer can be used these principles to always make the right decisions and to help to ensure that they are acting in the best interests of their clients and the public.

- The engineer’s duty to evaluate a practical situation in terms of the professional code of ethics
- The engineer’s duty to examine ethical behavior using several philosophical models
- The engineer’s duty to identify situations that represent conflicts of interest and formulate a proper response
- The engineer’s duty to apply standards of professional ethics in technical communication
Completion Certificate
