In this course the student will study the Florida Board of Professional Engineers Laws and Rules. This course consists of four sections, 1) Florida Rules: Changes to 61G15, 2) Florida Statutes: Changes to Chapter 455, 3) Florida Statutes: Changes to Chapter 471, and 4) Disciplinary Cases Review. *Approved Florida Laws Course for February 28, 2025 renewal deadline.*
Ethics for Professional Engineers
In this course the student will learn the fundamental canons of ethics, rules of practice & professional obligations required by Professional Engineers and apply those principles in reviewing case studies.
Engineering Ethics
In this course the student will study the Professional Engineer's Code of Ethics along with real life examples to reinforce these ethical principles. The professional engineer can be used these principles to always make the right decisions and to help to ensure that they are acting in the best interests of their clients and the public.
Accessibility: 2010 ADA Guidelines – Building Blocks
This course will focus on the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (the 2010 ADA Accessibility Design Guidelines): it will cover an overview of ADA, its impact/compliance on new construction and existing facilities and will deep dive into chapter 3: Building Blocks of the ADA guidelines covering in detail all regulations and requirements.
