There is no provision relating to the rules to be followed where corners have been lost, for a proportionate measurement based on the deficiency in acreage of adjoining parcels of land; and, where there is no question as to the establishment of a lost corner, the exact boundaries as shown on the government plat must prevail, and they will control a further description by quantity.
A deficiency or excess of actual acreage on the ground does not take precedent over the exact boundaries as indicated on the plat. Any proportionment of lost corners will be based on the plat and not on any excess or deficiency of acreage which may exist.
