Due to these factors, flooring materials should be properly selected and installed. The function of space, repair flexibility, ease of maintenance, and service life are important factors in selecting flooring materials. Four types of flooring materials are common in manufactured homes, carpet, vinyl composition tile (VCT), wood, and ceramic tile.
