Course Description
In this course the student will learn the basic components and operation of modern gas turbine engines used in aviation.
Course Objectives
- Discuss the various major components of a gas turbine engine
- Explain the functions of each major component
- Understand basic construction and material selection for each major component
- Identify the pros/cons of each type of engine
Completion Certificate
You will be able to immediately purchase and print a certificate of completion after passing a 10 question multiple-choice quiz. The quiz can be retaken unlimited times until a passing grade of 70% or better is earned. This course satisfies two (2) professional development hour (PDH) of continuing education.
